  2. Absent data will appear as 'backlogged' (see 'Backlogged Data') until they are confirmed as 'absent'. This process takes >24 hours.
  3. IR channel data are absent (or corrupt) from 2006/01/09 14:45 to 2006/01/12 11:45 inclusive, and from 2006/01/12 13:45 to 2006/01/12 14:45 inclusive, due to decontamination of the instrument during these periods. The DUST and WATER VAPOUR products are therefore invalid for these times.
